Adaptive streaming helps to optimize the stream performance in end-user's browser.
An incoming stream is divided into several streams, each having a different bitrate. A player in end-user's browser is constantly analyzing available bandwidth, player window size, display resolution, and processor performance. Based on those parameters our player adjusts the quality of the stream. Hence if the end-users have a slow connection they will receive a stream with the low bitrate.
Adaptive streaming is a default feature.
To get the full benefits of the feature send us the highest quality stream so we would be able to divide it into several ones with different bitrates.
