Statistics are collected via G-Core Labs player.
Aggregated data is shown in the Statistics section on the Media Platform tab.
VOD and live streams data are represented on the respective tabs.
To see the statistics for a particular live stream go to Broadcasts -> Edit -> Statistics.
To see the statistics for a particular VOD go to Videos -> Edit -> Statistics.
Views
Loads — shows how many times a page with the player code has been requested.
Starts — shows how many users have pressed a play button.
Views — shows how many users have watched 5 seconds of live stream/VOD or more.
Unique views — unique viewers are identified by a set of criteria such as user IP, screen size, browser, cookie.
Geography
User country is identified by the user IP. The data is represented in two forms: a map and a table. Only users who have watched at least 5 seconds of live stream/VOD are included.
Popular videos
A chart of frequently watched VOD. Only users who have watched at least 5 seconds of video are included.
Resources
URLs from which the live stream/VOD have been requested. Only users who have watched at least 5 seconds of live stream/VOD are included.
Browsers and Systems
Browsers and operational systems from which the live stream/VOD have been requested. The percent is counted from the total number of users who have watched at least 5 seconds of live stream/VOD.
Transcoding and Storage Usage
We use transcoding and storage usage statistics for billing. To see the data navigate to Reports -> Media Platform.
CDN statistics
Live streams and VOD are delivered via CDN servers. Go to Reports ->CDN to see data on traffic, bandwidth, and response codes Read more on CDN statistics.
